The Shawano School District considers the health and well-being of our school community a priority. With that in mind, we are partnering with ThedaCare and the Shawano-Menominee Counties Health Department to host school vaccination clinics for our students, families, and staff. Initial and booster doses of COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered to individuals ages 5 years and older.
These clinics will offer the following COVID-19 vaccines:
- Moderna and Pfizer
On the following dates, times and locations:
- Feb. 3rd – 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. – Hillcrest Community Room
- Feb. 4th – 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. – Shawano Community High School Library
No Pre-Registration and no appointments are necessary: Vaccinations will be given on a first come first serve basis. There will be no cost to you for this vaccine.
Consent: Vaccination is optional. A parent or guardian must be present with all children 5–17 years.
First shot - nothing needed.
Second shot - bring your CDC card to be updated
Booster shot - bring your CDC card to be updated
Vaccine Recommendation: The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for individuals 5 years and older. Children 12-17 and adults should also receive a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine 5 months after their initial primary vaccine series.
