SCHOOL BOARD - NOTICE OF VACANCY – Area III
Due to a vacancy on the Shawano School Board of Education the Shawano School District will be accepting applications from interested individuals. The interested individual must be a resident of Area III which is the Township of Wescott and a portion of the Township of Washington that is a part of the Shawano School District, must be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. citizen.
Term: The appointment will be through the April 2025 spring election at which time the successor will be elected for the remainder of the term (April 2026).
Interested individuals must file a Declaration of Interest with Lori Sherman at the Shawano School District Office no later than 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2023. Filing forms can be acquired from the Shawano School District Office at 218 County Road B between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Board of Education may interview applicants. If the decision is made to interview, this will be in an open session during a school board meeting.
