Hoffman Community Listening Sessions


The district has started a new process to develop a long-range facility plan positioning the district to positively address future needs.  To provide a comprehensive understanding of current, new, and future needs in the preparation of that long-range plan, the district has teamed with Hoffman Planning, Design, & Construction, Inc. of Appleton.

 You are an important part of our school community, and your thoughts and ideas make a difference in how our schools serve students, staff, and families in the Shawano area. 

The district would like your input to help complete this study.  We would like you to participate in one of the following 1-hour sessions facilitated by Hoffman.

• Tuesday, April 25th from 2:00 pm – Shawano Resource Room at 607 E. Elizabeth St. Shawano. (Formerly Shawano Job Center)
• Tuesday, April 25th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Shawano Community Middle School
• Monday, May 8th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Shawano Community Middle School

These listening sessions are intended to allow you the opportunity to share your thoughts in discussion of the following five broad questions.

  1.  What is your School District known for today?
  2. What do you hope your School District will be known for in the future?
  3.  What additional programs or services should be provided for students and community by your School District?
  4.  What are the major obstacles facing your School District?
  5.  If you could do anything you wanted to improve the facilities of your school district, what would you do?
