HOW TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD

We are excited that your child will be attending one of our schools in the Shawano School District. Our school system has an easy-to-use, secure online registration system that will allow you to complete many of the forms required for registering your child. Much of the registration process, including the uploading of documents needed for registration, will be completed online. Most document attachments are compatible. (PDF, JPG, DOC, PNG, etc.)

After you have your child(ren)'s birth certificate and proof of residency, click New Student Registration for New Student Enrollment or click Current Family Registration if you are re-registering or registering an additional child in your family. When you have completed registration process do not forget to press the submit button. You will see a successfully submitted message. You will be contacted by one of the school personnel from the school your child is now enrolled in. Please check out the directory of our schools below.

Who can enroll? Shawano School District 4K is open to any student who will turn 4-years-old on or before September 1st, and K5 is open to any student who will turn 5-years-old on or before September 1st and is not enrolled in school yet. We look forward to having your child join us!

How do we enroll? The district offers half-day & full day K4 and full-day K5 year-old Kindergarten to all in-district children or those approved for Open Enrollment.

New Families to the Shawano School District: If this is your first child entering the Shawano School District, Welcome!

1. Visit the Online Registration System by clicking HERE.

2. Follow the listed directions.

If your children are currently attending the Shawano School District & you have a student entering K4 year-old or K5 for the first time:

1. Visit the Online Registration System by clicking HERE

2. Choose New Student Registration and follow the directions to enroll your child.

If you live outside the Shawano School District and are applying to open enroll your child, you must first complete the Open Enrollment Application Process via the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's website.  This window is open from February 6, 2023 through April 28, 2023.
